About Me

Omaha, NE, United States
I am a drawer, painter, printmaker, art educator, children's book publishing company co-founder (www.gorillapress.com) and published illustrator. I received a B.A. in Studio Art from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA, a M.S. in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and a M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, NE. My passion for art has taken me all over the United States and to other parts of the world. I am currently a full-time artist and visual art teacher for the Westside Community Schools, a diverse public school district in Omaha, Nebraska. As an experienced artist, I would welcome opportunities for freelance and commissioned work and for sharing my art in public, corporate and private settings.
