I am a drawer, painter, printmaker, art educator, children's book publishing company co-founder (www.gorillapress.com) and published illustrator. I received a B.A. in Studio Art from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA, a M.S. in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and a M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, NE. My passion for art has taken me all over the United States and to other parts of the world. I am currently a full-time artist and visual art teacher for the Westside Community Schools, a diverse public school district in Omaha, Nebraska. As an experienced artist, I would welcome opportunities for freelance and commissioned work and for sharing my art in public, corporate and private settings. "Springtime at Caesium" Exhibition, March 23, 2013, Caesium Art Gallery

On Saturday night of March 23, 2013, I will have artworks in the exhibition, "Springtime @ Caesium" at The Caesium Art Gallery.  I had prints in December's "Square Foot" show am excited to exhibit again this March!  This show can also be viewed on weekends in March and April.  The gallery is located at 4656 S. 60th Ave, Omaha, NE 68117 and may be contacted at (402) 578-7938 or caesiumgallery@gmail.com.

"Omaha First Friday Art Party Fundraiser for The Women's Center for Advancement", February 1-25, 2013

Four of my linocuts, "The Universe in My Backyard, 1-4" were exhibited on February 1-25, 2013 at Loom (1012 South 10th Street, Omaha, NE, just south of the Old Market).  The art show and fundraiser was hosted by Les Femmes Folles and Loom, for the benefit of the Women's Center for Advancement.
