I am a drawer, painter, printmaker, art educator, children's book publishing company co-founder (www.gorillapress.com) and published illustrator. I received a B.A. in Studio Art from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA, a M.S. in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and a M.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, NE. My passion for art has taken me all over the United States and to other parts of the world. I am currently a full-time artist and visual art teacher for the Westside Community Schools, a diverse public school district in Omaha, Nebraska. As an experienced artist, I would welcome opportunities for freelance and commissioned work and for sharing my art in public, corporate and private settings. "Cigar Box Art Show", Caesium Gallery

I will be showing several pieces in the Caesium Gallery's exhibition, "Cigar Box Art Show" on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 7:00pm.  The gallery is located at 4656 S 60th Ave, Omaha, NE 68117.  Here is a description from The Caesium's FaceBook page: "...A group show featuring dozens of artists using cigar boxes as their canvas.... (The gallery will) be open pre- and post- Maha Music Festival.... Opening reception on Thursday, August 14th, 7-9 PM, and then open on Friday night, August 15th, 7-9 PM, and Sunday afternoon, August 17th, noon - 4pm. The gallery is located one block from 60th and L Street next to San Guinary's Barber Shop.
